Our Story

We’re Michael and Addie, the husband-and-wife team behind Eden’s Table.

In 2023, we moved from Virginia to New Hampshire to take a chance on building something of our own. After years in food and hospitality, we wanted work that reflected our standards, gave us a stake in the outcome, and let us build something together every day. We chose to build Eden’s Table as both a farm and artisan whole-grain bakery because it brings together our most important professional passions: growing high-quality produce in cooperation with nature and crafting breads, pastries, and confections that bring both substance and joy into daily life.

Each of us came to this point by a different route, but always with food and care at the center.

Michael began in restaurants as a busser, worked his way into fine dining, and eventually became a sommelier. He then moved into wine sales focused on small, ecologically responsible producers. His years in the wine world gave him a deep understanding of agriculture and craftsmanship, while his time managing small businesses taught him how good systems and steady leadership create lasting value. Before all of that, he served nine years in the U.S. Air Force, an experience that shaped his discipline, perspective, and commitment to professionalism.

Addie started her food career at a farm-to-table retreat center, graduated from culinary school, trained in fine dining kitchens in Boston and D.C., and eventually found her way into baking while recovering from a back injury. What began as a shift in work became a lasting passion for pastry, seasonality, and the detail-oriented care that baking requires. Along the way, she also discovered a love of gardening, especially the depth of flavor in heirloom fruits and vegetables, which continues to shape how she thinks about ingredients and taste.

Together, we built Eden’s Table around our professional passions with the goal of sharing delicious, satisfying food with our community. Our bakery remains small, personal, and grounded in the idea that respect for food, for craft, and for people belongs at the center of the table.
